These are the fashion colors for the fall and winter of 2022 - 2023

Summer has come to an end and it's time to start thinking about our fall and winter outfits. Fortunately, once again this year you have an incredibly fun and wide range of colors to choose from! Pantone, accepted worldwide as the color authority, released its Fashion Colour Trend Report for fall and winter 2022-2023 for New York Fashion Week. Read on quickly to find out what colors of clothes you will be bringing into your home for the cold season this year!

We absolutely love this year's fashion colors! Once again, the fashion colors are very diverse. There are both bright colors present such as shades of yellow and orange, as well as beautiful dark blues and browns. Also, remarkably enough, you can also wear a very nice light pink and light blue color this fall and winter if you want to dress fashionably. Our high hopes from Pantone's fall Fashion Color Trend Report have once again been exceeded in 2022. We can't wait to see how we ourselves can add these gorgeous colors to our own wardrobes!

Very Peri - The fashion color of 2022

Earlier in February this year, it was already announced by Pantone that Very Peri would be the fashion color of 2022. The beautiful blue-purple hue was on full display during New York Fashion Week and then also in stores everywhere. This versatile shade is perfect for a hot summer day but also for any other day of the year. You can combine it beautifully with dark shades such as Polar Night.

Lava Falls - Warm dark red

This intensely fiery, passionate fashion color is based on melting lava. It is a classic fall color that is also reminiscent of the dark red color that the leaves of some trees take on before they fall. In fact, Lava Falls goes slightly to the orange-brown. The color signifies a fiery, passionate emotion. It looks like we will see this color surprisingly often this year in combination with purple; or Rose Violet.

Samoan Sun - Sunset Yellow

Samoan Sun is a beautiful warm yellow color named after the sunset on the island of Samoa. Designers seem to be choosing yellow en masse this fall and winter. As far as we are concerned, it is the perfect way to bring some color into your winter wardrobe. Despite the colder temperatures, you can still bring warmth and coziness into every day thanks to this color.

Orange Tiger - Orange

The color Orange Tiger is all about excitement and energy. This intense orange color brings a little cheer to an otherwise gloomy season. Hit the streets confidently with a coat in Orange Tiger and brighten up the streets! You can pair Orange Tiger immensely well with Arctic Wolf to let the orange garment steal the show or alternatively Lava Falls for a passionate, fiery fashion look.

Rose Violet - Deep pink

Rose violet is a deep, pink color. The color is quite bright and tends toward purple. You can pair this color nicely with blue colors like Midnight but also with light colors like Watersprout or Chiseled Stone for a soft look.

Amazon - Rainforest green

When all the leaves fall off the trees with us, somewhere in the world they remain green in the rainforests. Amazon is a fresh and cheerful shade of dark green. It is a little trickier to combine this color with other cheerful colors. For example, if you combine it with Lava Falls you run the risk of looking like you are walking around in a Christmas outfit. Of course, this is actually fun during Christmas, but a little less appropriate outside of it. However, you can combine Amazon excellently with the other green fashion colors such as Olive Green or Loden Forest, for example. Of course, you can also wear it in combination with neutral colors like Polar Night, Arctic Wolf or Chiseled Stone. You can also combine it well with Midnight or Caramel Café.

Nosegay - Piglet pink

This cute pink shade is named after what we call a "smelling piglet." This is a small, compact bunch of flowers meant to give off a hugely delicious, floral scent. In the past, these were often given as a gift at weddings. It's a pretty notable color for fall and winter; but we're glad to have the chance to brighten up wardrobes for these dreary seasons with this as well.

Watersprout - Light Blue

This endearing, light blue color has been named "watersprout" by Pantone. It promises to be one of the most worn fashion colors of winter 2022. The color is somewhat similar to ice blue but a bit brighter. Therefore, it is the perfect color to create a bright winter outfit with. In addition, this color also belongs perfectly in spring. You can beautifully combine Water Prout with Midnight but also with Autumn Blonde or Nosegay accessories for a lovely pastel look.

Caramel Cafe - Warm Brown

A beautiful brown color really cannot be missed as a fashion color for the winter months. Fortunately, Pantone has once again thought about creating the perfect brown color to wear during autumn and winter. This color is of course great for shoes and bags, but it can also be perfectly applied to clothing. For example, you can stylishly create a soft look by pairing a Caramel Café cardigan with an Autumn blonde sweater and Arctic Wolf pants. To this, wear a nice handbag, shoes and belt in Caramel Café and some gold accessories to complete the look.

Midnight Blue - Cosmic dark blue

Get hypnotized by the dark blue shade of fall and winter 2022: Midnight Blue. This cosmic color is inspired by the night sky and exudes calm and tranquility. It is a fairly dark color that looks great paired with all kinds of light color tones but also looks trendy together with a color like Caramel Café and Amazon. It is, of course, the color of choice for jeans.

Olive Green

Compared to Amazon, Olive Green is a shade of green that goes a little easier with other colors. For example, accents in the warm color Samoan Sun and Orange Tiger look great paired with Olive Green. However, Olive Green and Autumn Blonde are also a wonderful combo.

Arctic Wolf - Sheepskin White

You can really wear this versatile, very soft shade of white with everything. Arctic wolf is classic and seasonless, so you will enjoy a garment item in this fashion color for a long time. Use it to break up a dark outfit or to make a pastel look even softer.

Autumn Blonde - Cream

The color Autumn Blonde is a hugely versatile color that can actually be worn all year long. It is a soft beige color that tends towards a warm blonde hair color. With Autumn Blonde you can add some softness to any outfit. Especially on dark skin tones it comes out beautifully, for example in the form of a beautiful knitted dress with a belt around it in Caramel Café.

Polar Night - Intense dark blue

You can create the chicest business looks with this color. It is easy to combine with really any color. Because of this, you can leave clothing items in the color Polar Night in your closet for years: they will not go out of style easily. Polar Night is a wonderful color for, for example, a beautiful blazer to wear over your neat work clothes.

Loden Frost - Dark Green

Loden Frost is a very natural shade of green: it's like it comes straight off a tree leaf.  This chic , light green fashion color is an excellent fall color. It reminds you of when tree leaves are just about to yellow in a week. A wonderful color to enter autumn with. Combine this color easily with Midnight, Arctic Wolf or Polar Night. For a striking color combination, you can also wear Loden Frost nicely in combination with Nosegay pink accents such as a Nosegay scarf or shoulder bag as an accessory.

Chiseled Stone - Grey

Chiseled stone is a very versatile shade of gray. The first thing that comes to mind is that it would look wonderful paired with almost any other color in the Pantone color scheme for this season. Among other things, you can create stunning business looks with it, in combination with Arctic Wolf or Polar Night, for example. You can also create the most beautiful combinations with shades of green, such as Loden Frost or Martini Olive. Add a few silver accessories and you have created a very stylish outfit.
