Stretching shoes with ice

It probably sounds familiar: you bought shoes that are actually too small because you just HAD to have them. Of course, you could go to the shoemaker to have them stretched but we found an alternative, very handy way to do it yourself!

Here's how it works: fill two sandwich bags for a quarter with water, place them in the shoes and put them in the freezer until the water has turned to ice. Then, take the shoes out of the freezer and let leave them for 20 minutes. Then, take out the bags and your shoes will have increased a half- to a full shoe size. How easy!
