1. Put on a jacket

A jacket is a great tool to help make you look slimmer. A jacket disguises the areas you most likely feel drag your appearance down the most, like a bloated belly. By wearing a jacket with a loose cut, you direct the attention to your legs. These will then appear longer and slimmer.

2. Wear shoulder pads

No, we're not talking about huge shoulder pads here. Choose a cute jacket with a thin padding or go for a tough biker jacket with extra shoulder pads. This will instantly create a slimmer figure.

Don't just pick the size you always wear, but choose it with care. Don't buy clothes that are too tight or too wide. These will not show your figure well. Try on a different size. Try on a garment in different sizes. By comparing sizes you will soon see which size looks best on you.

Longer clothes make you look slimmer. Choose longer pants, or go for pants or skirts with a high waist. In these you will look taller and therefore slimmer.

Emphasize your best points with a beautiful, flared skirt. It creates a slender waist and disguises the areas which most likely make you feel uncomfortable. Wear with it a pair of beautiful pumps to show off your slim ankles.
