The Travis Scott x Nike Air Force 1 Low “Cactus Jack” is Scott’s intentionally rough-and-tumble reimagining of the revered silhouette. The patchwork design calls to mind Nike’s Bespoke Design Lab formerly located in downtown Manhattan for its sewn-together, DIY-inspired ethos. Scott outfits his second Air Force 1 Low collaboration with sturdy canvas patches that include shades of brown, lilac, dark navy blue, and black along the upper. A brown canvas Swoosh is located on each lateral side with a camo Swoosh on each medial side. Scott's "Cactus Jack" graphics can be found printed across various panels of the upper. A black leather perforated toe contrasts the canvas, as does a unique black corduroy and blue nylon lace cover with a large gold zipper running down the middle. The medial side of the shoe
The Olivia Kim x Nike Air Force 1 “No Cover” takes on the nightclub theme of the collection imagined by Nordstrom’s VP of Creative Projects. Including in part of a five design capsule, Kim dedicated each colorway to the sights, sounds, and people of the nightclub scene of the ‘90s. The Air Force 1 “No Cover” specifically takes inspiration from New York City's rave scene of the '90s. A plush blue corduroy covers the entire upper including the mid-panel, toe, and eyelets. Contrasting lime green snake print Swoosh branding spans from the mid-panel to the heel with white Nike branding covering the heel. In keeping with the party vibes, Kim outfits the sole in glow-in-the-dark rubber, an homage to the late nights spent dancing the night away. Release date: November 8, 2019.
The Nike Air Fear of God 1 “Oatmeal” is a fall 2019 colorway of Jerry Lorenzo’s hybrid basketball and street fashion-inspired design with Nike. Lorenzo blends inspiration from archival ‘80s and ‘90s basketball silhouettes with a stylish modern look for the present day. The “Oatmeal” motif recalls early Air Fear of God 1 colorways with its muted nylon upper and tonal overlays. Thick tonal rope laces and a premium light brown suede toe cap accent the look. Mini white Swoosh branding is located on the forefoot. Like all Air Fear of God 1s, Lorenzo opts for a raised midsole and icy blue Air unit in the heel to highlight the premium aesthetic of his collaborative Nike design. Release date: November 2, 2019
